Desert Flowers~

Cacti in peak spring bloom,

bursting to rival spring flowers.

Citron, ruby, pearl, amethyst.

A bejeweled thorn garden,

with cactus fairies dressed in buds.

Queen Yucca reigns,

while lowly barrel floats cellophane flowers.

Arid desert landscape,

yields burgeoning blooms.
