People travel to places after being told by friends that they are worth visiting, aside from reading about them in magazines, both printed and televised…so they spend for it. Their need to see places have been conceived by other people and various forms of media that practically, entice them to embark on an adventure. Without the encouragement, people will not even think of leaving their home because they have no idea that beautiful places exist somewhere.

 

It is in this manner that the evil-minded have conceived vices for their unsuspecting victims to enjoy, such that, they will attain a euphoric state of satisfaction when they indulge themselves in them. Later, these vices which could be alcohol, cigarette, gambling, and drugs would develop into some sort of necessities of their victims. At the end, the evil-minded have become successful in creating the needs for their victims.

 

There has been no need for bombs and guns until such need was created by people who thought of gainful destruction. Along with what have been made to attain a selfish motive, the manner, with which they could be used have been conceived, so there are wars and terrorism. Had the evil-minded not brought forth into the world such instrumentalities of destruction, people would have thought of just reaping the grains in the field as they get ripe, hunt for food needed for a day or two, enjoy the moon when it is in its fullest, and worship Nature as a manifestation of a powerful Force….in other words, just lead a simple life, until today.

 

The tendency of man to abuse has underlined his evil-mindedness. And, because of that, practically, everything that has got to do with life has been abused, such as, kindness, authority, trust, love, Nature, food, water, medicine, animals, plants, mental faculty, etc. His disdainful selfishness has eventually, led him to a gainful destruction that likewise, leads him along the path of self-destruction!

The evil in man makes him salivate at all opportunities for exploitation… just anything in this world.  In this regard, inventions with good intentions are used to sow destruction, such as even helpful drugs, gadgets, etc.

 

The dynamite is supposed to be used for smashing big boulders into bits, but is being used in illegal fishing and so many other damaging purposes. The cough syrup is supposed to alleviate the respiratory ailment but is used by unscrupulous youth to get “high”. Sedative drugs are downed with beer or liquor to as “downers”. An ingredient in making fertilizer is also being used to make explosive. Nail and screws are used as fillings in home-made bombs. Cellphones are used to send harmful messages by evil-minded selfish ego-trippers and to trigger home-made bombs, the internet or the social media, for that matter, is used by the people with devilish character. Etc.

 

Despite the very obvious positive impression and intent of anything, the evil in man makes him perceive even the teeny-weeny strain of a negative flaw and expand it into exaggerated proportion with the purpose of ruining the whole. Examples are the well-intended blogs ruined by nonsensical comments, the laws which are circumvented for illegal purpose, etc.

 

As regards the laws and rules, the evil in man makes him see gainful and selfish opportunities in the flaws or defects. Concern here are the lawmakers themselves and those who are supposed to implement them. Extortion is what the evil in man wants to happen. The evil in man cannot even be suppressed by the gained knowledge from universities, as many of those with devilish mind are bred in such institutions!

Who Says God has a Day Off?

Although, one of the Ten Commandments says that the Sabbath should be considered as a day of rest, what I understand is that it refers to the people, because such day should be devoted only for worship. The Roman Catholic Church even changed this to the pagan day worship of the sun – Sunday. Anyway,  what I understand is that the said commandment does not refer to God, as He is supposed to be everywhere every time of the day. To put it bluntly, this is about some Roman Catholic parish offices being closed on Saturday, the original Sabbath. Are the non-secular parish priests who are running most of the parishes emulating the ways of the Pharisees….the so-called hypocrites of the Old Testament? If this is so, these Roman Catholic priests might as well take off their priestly garb and join a Christian sect that is literally following the Old Testament to the letter!

 

If these hypocrite Roman Catholic parish priests would like to give their lay staff a day off, why not come up with a rotated schedule so that for all days of the week, at least one of them is left in the office? If the regular parish priest would like to go on a day off which is unbecoming, why not request a “roving priest” to take over for at least one day, as all of them are supposed to be helping each other for the sake of the “Christian flock”?

 

Here is a classic story: In a southern parish, the family of a departed kin requested their parish priest for a Requiem Mass for their loved one. The requested day was Saturday so that relatives who have absented themselves from work could go back home the following day, a Sunday, in time for their return to work still the following day, a Monday. Unfortunately, there was a vehement rejection because the parish office was closed as scheduled…no staff to attend to the bereaved family, although, the church would be open.  Not even the suggestion of the family that they will find another priest to officiate the Mass could move the parish priest to change his decision. Sunday is not allowed for requiem Mass, so that was out as a solution to the problem. At the end, the arrogance of the parish priest prevailed as the schedule was moved two days later to Monday which means, the visiting relatives would be able to report back to work on Wednesday or Thursday, practically missing several days of precious daily earnings!

 

By the way, hubs of air travel operations in any country has no day off, the police has no day off, the hospital staff has no day off, even the mall staff has no day off, etc. How come, the parish office of the Roman Catholic Church whose reputation is deteriorating every hour of the day cannot open its door to the so-called “Roman Catholic flock”, in an effort to counter the negative impression that is mounting every day? Is it the way of the parish priest in “helping” the seemingly helpless new pope? Or is the parish priest acting like a crab?

 

The parish priest in question who I was told was newly- assigned in the area has a record of arrogance, and he would like to show to the already restless parishioners that he is the “authority”. Obviously, he has a problem with psychological insecurities. He even allegedly fired parish lay personnel who have spent more than twenty of their precious years serving the church. He is making decisions left and right without proper consultation with the Pastoral Council as a whole, choosing to speak only with the favored members whom he think would support him. In other words, his decisions may be illegal as they are without the consent of the majority of the council members, and may not even be properly covered with signed documents.

 

The above-mentioned priest is among the embarrassments of the new pope that he mentions every time he has an opportunity, and for which he always ask apologies from the Roman Catholics. An interesting blog about the pope taking off his papal robe before holding a Mass is a clear manifestation that he is not in favor of the un-Christian attitude of many priests of the Roman Catholic Church who are either accused of fund misuse, arrogance and sexual assault.

 

The attitude of the mentioned parish priest shows that the Anti-Christs could be within the Roman Catholic Church – they, whose ways are contrary to what the true Catholic Church stands for. Anti-Christs in priestly robe are heavily groggy with arrogance because they have the impression that being parish priests they can “play” with the parishioners many of whom are suckers in the name of salvation…parishioners who think that their salvation depends ONLY on their parish priest who is “protected” by the white “sotana”, but could be devils in disguise!

 

Now, are we still wondering why the Roman Catholic Church is reeling from uncontrolled deterioration and may find it hard to recover unless the hypocrites in white priestly garb and who are heady with arrogance,  are calling the shots despite the reminders of the new pope?

 

For this kind of arrogant priest, the parishioners should join hands and boot him out before he can do more harm to their community!

TWO THOUGHTS ON FAKE RICE AND NOODLES,

AND POISONED DURIAN CANDIES…

1. THE LAWMAKERS SHOULD INVESTIGATE THEM, “IN AID OF LEGISTATION” – IMMEDIATELY, WHILE THEY ARE STILL VERY HOT ISSUES, ESPECIALLY, AS THEY SEEM TO HAVE A “PURPOSE”, IN VIEW OF THE COMING ELECTION. ALSO, MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE BETTER FOR THEM TO GET BEST EXPOSURE THAT THEY ALWAYS DESIRE.

2. THE LAWMAKERS MUST EAT THE FAKE RICE AND NOODLES, AND THE POISONED DURIAN CANDIES TO MAKE THE RESULT OF THEIR INVESTIGATION “FACTUAL”, TO AID THEM IN COMING UP WITH “FACTUAL”, HENCE, REALISTIC LAW.

3. THEY SHOULD EAT THE FAKE RICE FOR ONE MONTH AND THREE DAYS SO THAT THEY WILL KNOW THAT IT IS INDEED POISONOUS, AS SOME IRRESPONSIBLE GOVERNMENT SPOKESPERSONS ALLEGE THAT THE POISON TAKES EFFECT AFTER ONE MONTH OF CONSUMPTION – ONLY. THE THREE DAYS ARE FOR THEIR STAY IN THE HOSPITAL.

IT IS ONLY BY DOING THE ABOVE THAT THE “INTELLIGENT” AND “HARDWORKING” LAWMAKERS CAN SHOW THEIR “SINCERITY” IN PASSING LAWS THAT ARE NOT INTENTIONALLY- MADE DEFECTIVE SO THAT THEY BE EASILY “BROKEN”…IN AID OF CORRUPTION.

THE LAWMAKERS SHOULD TAKE SPECIAL NOTE ON WHY ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE ONLY CENTERED ON DAVAO, THE DOMAIN OF DUTERTE. THEY SHOULD ASK THEMSELVES WHY….WITH ONE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION…IS IT A DEMOLITION “JOB”?

THE POISONED DURIANS, ALTHOUGH, DISTRIBUTED IN SURIGAO CITY, ARE WITHOUT QUESTION SYNONYMOUS TO DAVAO OR DAVAO CITY…AND, THE PERPETRATORS SEEM WANT TO SHOW THAT DUTERTE IS INUTILE IN CHECKING THEM.

Hanggang sa panahon ngayon, para sa tao, umiiral pa rin ang kalakarang survival of the fittest o matira ang matibay, sa kabila ng mga tinatawag na “sistema” na gumagabay sa sibilisadong pamumuhay. Kahit tayo’y nasa panahon na ng tinatawag na sibilisasyon, nasa paligid pa rin natin ang mga banta na dulot ng iba pang mga nilikhang nasa mababang antas o lebel ng buhay – ang mga mababangis na hayop, at mga pesteng kulisap. Nagbabanta pa rin ang lakas ng kalikasan, at ang pinakamatinding banta ay mula sa kapwa-tao natin mismo.

Ang survival of the fittest ay hindi dapat na pantukoy lamang sa mga hayop na nakatira sa kagubatan at nakikipagtagisan ng bangis sa isa’t isa, upang pagkatapos, ang mananaig ay kakain sa natalo, o mga halamang gubat na nag-aagawan ng sikat ng araw, kaya ang pinakamataas na may pinakamayabong na dahon at sanga ay may malaking pag-asang mabuhay. Ang survival of the fittest ay angkop din sa tao.

Sa sibilisadong mundo ng tao, ang digmaan ay isa lamang sa mga makakapagpatunay kung anong bansa ang matibay. Upang mapatunayan ang lakas, may mga bansang gumagamit ng pinakamalakas at pinakabagong sandata. Gumagamit din sila ng mga istratehiya upang makakuha ng maraming kaalyadong bansa. Ang mga istratehiya ay ginagamit din ng malalaking bansa upang makapanlinlang o makapag-bluff, o hindi kaya ay makapanindak ng maliliit na bansa na balak nilang kontrolin.

Pagdating naman sa ekonomiya, kung anong bansa ang may maraming pera na dinadagdagan pa ng katusuhan, ay siyang may malaking tsansang makakontrol ng mga negosyo sa buong mundo. Ang katusuhan ay ginagamit sa pinapairal na mga patakaran sa pangangalakal, upang maging one-sided ang mga ito at papabor sa malalaking bansa. Dito ay mababanggit ang isyu halimbawa, ang “globalization” na ang mga patakaran ay pabor sa mga malalaking bansa, at sumisira naman sa industriya at agrikultura ng mga maliliit na bansa na nasindak at nalinlang, tulad ng Pilipinas. Subali’t kung minsan, sa bagay na ito, mismong mga opisyal ng gobyerno ay sangkot sa ganitong panlilinlang ng sarili nilang bansa dahil kahit alam na nilang hindi makabubuti ang mga pinasok na kasunduan ay may kabulagan pa rin nilang itinutuloy.

Sa relihiyon, ang tibay at lakas ay pinapakita sa pamamagitan ng sipag at tiyaga sa pangangalap ng mga miyembro. Ang ibang grupo ay bumibili ng airtime sa TV at radyo upang magkaroon ng regular na programa. Ang iba ay nagkakasya sa paglilibot at pagmumudmod ng mga babasahin, na sinasabayan ng pakikibahagi ng mga Salita ng Diyos. Ang ibang grupo na gustong makapagpa-impress agad ay naninira o nanlilibak ng mga kakumpetensiya. Subali’t ang pinakamatinding paraan ay ang ginagawa ng Islamic State group, isang ultra-tradionalist group ng mga Muslim sa Gitnang Silangan na namumugot ng mga kaaway o lumalabag sa mga patakaran nila.

Sa larangan naman ng pulitika, bihirang bansa ang may malinis o hindi korap na sistema. Ang pinakamakatotohanang halimbawa ay ang pulitika sa Pilipinas na sa ngayon ay parang gubat kung saan ay naglipana ang mga halos nauulol sa pagkagahaman na mga pulitiko –  nagpapakapalan ng hiya o apog sa mukha. Matira ang matibay na may sikmurang halang ang bituka….tibay ng hiya dahil kumapal na sa mukha….at tibay ng pagsisinungaling dahil kung magbanggit sila ng mali ay animo nagbabasa ng Katotohanan mula sa Bibliya.

Sa Pilipinas pa rin, pagkatapos ng hagupit ng mga kalamidad, makikita ang mga matitibay – mga nakaligtas, subalit patuloy pa ring hinahagupit ng mga panloloko ng mga taong itinalaga ng gobyerno upang tumulong sa kanila. Ang mga manlolokong ito ang namamahala ng mga ahensiya ng gobyerno na may kinalaman sa pagpamudmod ng mga relief goods subalit hindi maayos ang pagpapatupad ng mga tungkulin. Ang mga taong nakaligtas sa hagupit ng kalamidad ay hinahagupit rin ng mga pulitikong gumagamit sa kanila upang makapagpalapad ng papel –  makapagpakodak habang namimigay kuno ng tulong, o di kaya ay makapagpa-interview sa mga reporter upang makaipon ng puntos na kailangan nila pagdating ng eleksiyon.

Pero hindi tayo dapat mawalan ng pag-asa sa harap ng mga pangyayari, dahil kung matibay ang pananampalatayang nakatanim sa ating puso, hindi naman siguro tayo pababayaan ng nag-iisang Pinakamakapangyarihan sa lahat. Ang nakikita at nadadanasan nating mga pangyayari ay hanggang sa ibabaw lamang ng mundo…at magtatapos din sa ibabaw ng mundo dahil may hangganan. Subali’t ang tibay na ipapakita ng may masidhing pananampalataya sa Kanya ay panghabang-buhay….walang hangganan…hanggang sa kabilang buhay!
