Rosa Campus’ IT Week 2015, with the theme ‘3D: #Dream # Develop & #Deploy; Ideas today for Integrating Tomorrow’ the PUP-SRC Firefox Club partnered with Eligible League of Information Technology Enthusiasts to bring a Maker Party into the campus. A Maker Party is Mozilla’s campaign which aims to help people increase their understanding on the web and take greater control of their online lives. In August, my son and I visited some places in Manila. We explored the downtown. But as usual, the traffic in the metro was terrible and unbearable. Buses and trains were crowded. If we had enough time, it wouldn’t bother us at all. But our time was very limited, we couldn’t afford to waste 3-4 hours in a traffic jam. I had to find another option. I paused for a while and sipped some coconut juice we bought on the street. After a couple of minutes, along with the sweat that trickled down on my face, the idea came out. Our last option was the hustle free and a much convenient Pasig River boats.

Sa pabago-bagong panahong dulot ay pinsala

sa halip na biyaya…

Sa harap ng kagutumang ating nararanasang

walang katapusan…

At, sa harap ng mga kinatatakutang krimen –

‘wag munang tapusin ang dasal ng “amen”.

Magdasal pa tayo ng marubdob at taimtim

‘wag magmadali…

Sa panahong ang patayan ay kalat sa mundo

piliting ‘wag masiphayo…

basta’t  namumutawi ang dasal sa ating bibig –

sa pag-asa, tayo’y nakahilig!
